About the Role
We are looking for a Staff Technical Product Manager (TPM) to build and scale product capabilities that power customer communication and sales workflows for global B2B businesses.
Many of Wati’s customers are cross‑border businesses that rely on WhatsApp to manage inbound inquiries, follow up with customers, and close deals. These businesses often run lean sales teams and depend on messaging as their primary sales channel.
In this role, you will work closely with customers, sales teams, and engineering to translate real-world B2B workflows into scalable product capabilities. This includes building features across messaging infrastructure, automation workflows, APIs, integrations, and AI-driven product experiences.
You will play a key role in helping businesses manage high‑volume customer conversations and improve sales conversion at scale.
What You Will Do
• Own product initiatives end‑to‑end, from problem discovery to delivery and iteration
• Work directly with customers and sales teams to understand real B2B workflows such as inquiry handling, customer follow‑ups, and deal conversion
• Translate these workflows into scalable product capabilities including messaging automation, CRM‑like workflows, APIs, and integrations
• Partner closely with engineering to design platform features that support high‑volume messaging and sales operations
• Identify opportunities to improve sales efficiency, response speed, and customer conversion
• Use data, experimentation, and customer insights to continuously improve product impact
• Explore how AI can automate customer conversations, sales workflows, and operational processes
Requirements
• 8+ years of product management experience, with significant experience in B2B SaaS
• Strong experience building products related to sales workflows, CRM systems, customer communication platforms, or automation tools
• Deep understanding of B2B sales processes, especially inquiry‑driven sales and customer follow‑up workflows
• Ability to work closely with engineering teams and technical systems, including APIs, integrations, and platform capabilities
• Experience working directly with customers and go‑to‑market teams to translate real business problems into product solutions
• Strong product judgment, structured problem solving, and ability to operate in a fast‑moving environment
