Technical Primary Design Engineer (Electrical)

Job Description

1. Review, prepare and correct the sizing calculations for all Civil designs of the EHV substations as below:-

• Battery and charger sizing calculation
• Substation earthing and grounding sizing  calculation by CIM – GRID  software
• H.V, MV,& L.V cables sizing calculations
• Cable raceway design
• Substation general layout design
• Substation L.V AC, DC panels design and calculation
• Capable of handling MicroStation, AUTO-CAD software
• Lighting system design

2. Study the technical specifications of the project and assign the risk points.

3. Follow up on daily basis with the design submittal approval.

4. Participate in design meetings and provide continual input to optimize the design and minimize futile work.

5. Frequently visit sites to ensure reliable work and help in solving technical troubles faced at the site if any.

6. Cover any shortage of technical engineers’ requirements if needed at the site during testing and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering.
• 8~10 years of experience in the field.
