About the role
As a Tech Lead you will primarily focus on technology management, architecting complex systems and supporting a high impact but small team. The Tech Lead will have autonomy over technical direction and supporting their team with output and delivery. 

Your day-to-day will include:

• Collaborating with Product, Compliance, Operations and Management to design and deliver features within the Payments domain that are secure, compliant, and aligned with user and business needs.

• Leading the end-to-end delivery of payment systems and services, including requirements gathering, solution architecture, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing support.

• Designing, building, and maintaining robust and scalable APIs, services, and internal tools to support payments-related functions.

• Leading and contributing to the integration of third-party financial infrastructure, ensuring adherence to security and compliance standards.

• Providing technical leadership and mentorship to the next generation of Gnosis Business & Gnosis Ramp engineers, ensuring high-quality code standards, knowledge sharing, and adherence to best practices in software development.

• Proactively identifying and prioritising improvements to the team’s codebase, systems architecture, engineering processes, and documentation to enhance reliability, scalability, and maintainability.

• Supporting operational, audit, and compliance requirements related to the payments systems, including incident response, reporting, and risk mitigation where applicable.

• Serving as the technical point of contact for payment systems, and contributing to the broader engineering roadmap and strategy where relevant.
  
  

Who you are

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript across both frontend and backend

• Experience with system architecture and design

• Familiarity with Docker and containerized development environments

• Fluency in both spoken and written English
