Build a world-class recruiting engine - establish a highly automated hiring process that consistently delivers qualified candidates at high velocity without sacrificing quality
Own the full candidate experience - ensure every person who interacts with Handoff walks away with a positive impression, regardless of outcome; process is structured and communication is timely, every touchpoint reflects the company we’re building
Own the hiring plan - partner with executive leadership to maintain a live, accurate headcount plan that anticipates needs ahead of the business; roles are scoped, leveled, and ready to activate before the ask comes
Drive recruiting metrics and reporting - define the KPIs that matter (time-to-fill, offer acceptance rate, pipeline health, source quality) and build dashboards that give leadership full visibility at all times
Build, own, and continuously improve a recruiting tech stack powered by AI and automation - identify and implement AI tools across every stage of the funnel and train the team to use them effectively
Lead executive and leadership recruiting, managing search strategy, candidate assessment, and closing for senior hires
Own employer branding - shape how Handoff shows up to candidates across every channel and ensure every touchpoint reflects the company we’re building
Design the recruiting playbook in Austin that will scale to Handoff’s hubs in Argentina and Brazil
5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally at a high-growth SaaS startup
Proven track record recruiting at the Series A/B stage - understands how hiring needs and org structure evolve at that inflection point
Experience leading or owning executive and leadership-level searches
Demonstrably tech-forward - actively uses AI and recruiting automation tools in day-to-day work; not just familiar with them
Strong data literacy - can build a pipeline dashboard, interpret drop-off trends, and present recruiting metrics to leadership
Strong closer - you know how to engage, influence, and win top candidates
Experience hiring across multiple geographies or international markets
Background in employer branding or talent marketing
Experience in construction tech, proptech, or a technical product company
