Your mission
Building the next level of intelligence to digitize and optimize our installation business
As a Data Scientist in 1KOMMA5°, you will be one of the first members of a cross-functional team alongside business owners and the tech-team. You will build the data products powering our analysis of energy system components, including product management, procurement and supply chain. This includes but is not limited to forecasting demand and supply of products, analysing market price developments as well as product default rates. Cloud Architects and SREs will enable you to easily deliver and run software in a consistent, secure and reliable way.
Your mission
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Create, implement, evaluate, deploy, sustain, and enhance data solutions for complex and undefined problems in the space of energy system components and processes
Foster a culture of experiment-driven innovation within the team, working in collaboration with business owners of product management, procurement and supply chain
Promote teamwork and successful project execution
Own data-driven projects, provide solutions for complex problems and effectively communicate analysis results
Supported by our platform teams you will own data pipelines end to end.
Your profile
You have:
Degree in Computer Science or other related studies (e.g. Mathematics, Physics, etc) experience working closely with business stakeholders in product development process
Experience building data pipelines in (preferrably) python and sql
Experience in at least one dashboarding tool (e.g. Looker, Tableau)
Experience finding your way around in cross-functional teams in a fast pace, interdisciplinary working environment
An agile and result-oriented mindset and you consider yourself a team player
Experience with continuous delivery, cloud infrastructure (ideally Google Cloud) and DevOps practices
Very good knowledge of spoken and written English, German is a plus
Technologies you will work with include:
Python
ML libraries
Cloud Native Products (ideally GCP, eg. BigQuery, Dataflow, etc)
SQL
Terraform
Bonus points for:
Knowledge around the energy product, installation businesses, warehouse and logistics
Experience in other areas of software development outside of Data (backend, frontend, infrastructure, etc.)
Experience with continuous delivery, cloud infrastructure (ideally Google Cloud) and DevOps practices
Experience and interest in climate tech industry
