Job Description

Must have

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering

• Minimum 4 years of working experience in application development and implementation, particularly in ecommerce, internet banking and mobile banking projects

• Good understanding and experience in of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) are necessary

• Understanding of Agile methods with knowledge of Agile practices (e.g. Automated Build, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Frequent Releases, Planning Poker)

• Able to communicate with business and all stakeholders to translate requirements into practical solutions

• Strong conceptual and analytical skills – demonstrating outside-the-box problem solving skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Good to have

• Internet Banking and Mobile Banking platform technology

• Delivered content management system as part of an Internet Banking roll-out

• Knowledge or have worked on delivery project involving solution such as content management and device rendering products (e.g. Interwoven, HP LiveSite, Oracle Web Center Site) will be a major plus.

Essential Technical Skill

• J2EE, MVC and OO Analysis and Design patterns

• Oracle RDBMS, Apache WebServer, Oracle Weblogic

• EJB, JMX, Struts, Spring, Hibernate/Ibatis, JMS, MDB, MQ

• XML, XSL, JAXB, JAXP, JAX-RS, JAX-WS, SOAP, WSDL, REST, JSON

• HTML5, CSS3

• Weblogic, Apache, Ant, Maven

• Working knowledge of infrastructure including servers, storage, firewalls, load balancers, routers etc.
