Within a growing business, you will be enabled to significantly add value to a diverse portfolio of products and assist in new product commercialization efforts from a quality perspective.
Air Liquide is Hiring a Site Quality Operations Manager in Upper Mount Bethel, PA

Pay Range: $115k - $140k annually
Annual Bonus: 10%
Travel: up to 25%
Work Schedule: Mon - Friday (8 hours onsite)
On Call nights required

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
In a dynamic, high-energy environment, this position is responsible for guiding the QC organization in addition to mentoring and pioneering strategic and continuous improvement initiatives for the site. Provide day-to-day coordination of the QC team along with being an active contributor within the Site’s Advanced Materials management team.
Responsible for implementation and deployment of internal processes and documentation necessary to uphold internal and customer quality requirements. Coordinate, track, and report on the progress achieved. Maintain production and product control limits, specifications, and quality review meetings.
Coordinate and facilitate contracted metrology support to the site for performance, method development, and project prioritization for resource alignment.
Prepare and present customer-facing documentation related to product quality and ISO certification audits. Provide technical support for quality-related incidents for Advanced Material products manufactured and used within the Asia Pacific region.
Provide regular performance feedback including the development and support of staff goals, ALAM strategic key performance indicators, and site/product quality performance metrics. Develop and guide investigations, corrective actions, quality training, and support the implementation of systems necessary to maintain a robust Quality Management system.
Guide QC-specific FMEAs and offer recommendations to identify and resolve quality-related problems related to new, existing, or changing processes prior to occurrences.
Advance all company safety procedures and standards with the understanding that all injuries are preventable through appropriate risk reduction.
This position includes various roles and responsibilities within operational systems to facilitate change and have effective document control. These responsibilities can extend to support other regions of the world producing similar products.
Responsible for laboratory coordination including preventive and emergency maintenance activities in accordance with established procedures.
Day-to-day facilitation of laboratory activities. Works to ensure all QC Lab Techs have excellent qualifications and can fulfill their responsibilities, including maintenance activities. Ensure that lab tech schedules align with site demands.
Coordination of outgoing visual inspection of all customer orders. Works to ensure that QC Inspector schedules align with site demands.
Member of the Site Leadership Team. Will support all site initiatives and contribute to all Site Leadership Team meetings/events.
Key Technical Resource for Analytical Techniques.
Successfully completes all assigned trainings.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering, preferably Chemical Engineering or Chemistry. We also highly value diverse backgrounds and will consider equivalent experience (6+ years).
5+ Years of experience in a guiding or pioneering role, preferably within a quality-related function.
A thorough understanding of Quality Management fundamentals including FMEA, SPC, statistical data analysis, and collaborative problem-solving techniques.
Experience with GC, FTIR, and other online analyzer equipment and sampling systems.
Knowledge of analytical techniques used for the characterization of trace impurities in chemicals or pharmaceuticals.
Experience supporting or working within a laboratory environment.
Knowledge of SAP and LIMS system functionality to support operations and quality functions.
Skilled in FMEAs and SPC control methodologies.
Effective communication skills in English (verbal and written).
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ Years of semiconductor or pharmaceutical manufacturing experience.
Ability to inspire and empower a team toward shared goals.
ASQ Certification for auditing; ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949 certifications.
Excellent listening and connection-building skills.
Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher.
Knowledge of the 8D process.
Adept at balancing multiple priorities and effectively contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Experience using SAP and LIMS software.
