Job Description
As a Full Stack Engineer, your role will be to make the magic happen: turn ideas and requirements into product features. You will be working closely with our lead engineer in order to ship the first version of our product and make it an essential tool for our customers.
People who worked with you define you as a really curious person, that wants to understand the root of a problem, frame it analytically and then build efficient and elegant solutions to tackle it. They also enjoy to drink a beer (or two) with you after work 🍻.
You have a strong experience building scalable applications from end to end and have a real passion for what you do.
You will:
- Build experiences from start to end that will unlock a tremendous amount of value for revenue teams and have a real impact on their day-to-day operations.
- Write clean, high quality code on the front and back-end of our product. You will be responsible for everything from data ingestion and processing pipelines, our real-time alerting system to custom ways of representing insights in customer dashboards.
- Play an active role in the architecture, engineering and deployment of solutions that fulfil product requirements. This includes choosing the best tool for the job and learning as much as possible about it.
- Collaborate with product design and product management to make sure we are always building what our users need in the shape that serves them best.
Additional Information
Productivity is key in our tech choices and we strive to choose the most appropriate tool for the job. We want to stay flexible and quickly adapt to changes in the business and the market, hence we are open to include technologies that just make sense. You will be able (and encouraged!) to actively contribute to such choices.
Our core is in Go with parts of Python for some data integration tasks. Business logic data resides in PostgreSQL while sourced data sits between PostgreSQL and RedShift. The infrastructure sits in AWS and we naturally use source control, CI and CD. On the web side of things, we really like HTML and use HTMX to bring it to modern times.
We do not expect you to have a professional experience in Go but to have the willingness and interest in learning it and using it daily.
About the Company
Business teams today are struggling to leverage data and integrate it into their workflows, leaving plenty of potential unexpressed. This results in a huge loss of revenue opportunities and in an increase of costs due to inefficiencies.
We think that a better way exists and we are here to make it happen, focusing on revenue teams. These teams include sales, account management, customer success and marketing.
We are building a next-generation operational analytics platform that will empower these teams to consume their data, already cleaned and ready to use, when and where they need it (which could be slack, salesforce or our proprietary platform). This translates in plenty of opportunities that can be unlocked, increasing revenue and decreasing churn.
We see a huge opportunity in the market and are working hard to capture it, becoming a global leading player.
