Why we need you?

Our client is seeking a Senior SAP FICO Consultant with strong experience in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations to support global delivery projects across finance transformation programs. This role focuses on designing and configuring finance solutions aligned with SAP Best Practices and Fit-to-Standard methodology within the Public Cloud environment.

The selected consultant will play a key role across implementation and post-go-live phases, working closely with finance stakeholders, functional teams, and project leadership to deliver scalable Record-to-Report and core financial accounting capabilities. Responsibilities include leading workshops, supporting configuration using Central Business Configuration (CBC), coordinating testing cycles, and ensuring solution readiness through deployment and hypercare activities.

This position is well suited for consultants who are comfortable working in structured Public Cloud delivery models with limited customization and strong emphasis on standardization and integration across enterprise processes.

What will you be doing?

• Lead configuration activities within SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud FICO scope areas including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Asset Accounting
• Conduct Fit-to-Standard workshops and document solution gaps aligned with SAP Best Practices
• Configure finance scope items using Central Business Configuration (CBC)
• Support delivery across Record-to-Report (R2R) processes and financial closing activities
• Collaborate with MM and SD teams to ensure end-to-end process integration
• Coordinate with technical teams supporting data migration, integrations, and extensions
• Participate in unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Support cutover planning, go-live execution, and hypercare stabilization phases
• Assist with incident resolution and enhancement requests during production support when required
• Contribute to documentation, knowledge transfer, and reusable delivery assets across projects
• Engage with global stakeholders across distributed delivery environments

Desired Experience

• 8+ years of SAP FICO consulting experience
• Minimum 3 years working with SAP S/4HANA
• At least 2 full lifecycle implementations in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud
• Strong hands-on configuration experience in:
  • General Ledger
  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Asset Accounting
• Experience working within SAP Best Practices and Fit-to-Standard delivery approaches
• Practical experience configuring Public Cloud solutions using Central Business Configuration (CBC)
• Solid understanding of Record-to-Report processes and statutory financial requirements
• Experience supporting integration with MM and SD modules
• Exposure to Group Reporting, Lease Accounting, or Advanced Financial Closing is considered an advantage
• Experience supporting hypercare transitions and/or AMS environments is preferred
• Prior participation in global delivery models or distributed implementation teams is desirable
• SAP S/4HANA Finance certification (Public Cloud preferred)
• Experience with GROW with SAP or RISE with SAP programs is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or related discipline
