Job Description

About PointFive

PointFive is the Cloud & AI Efficiency Engine trusted by engineering and FinOps teams at companies like Fanatics, H&M, Bridgestone, and Hertz.

We created the category of Cloud & AI Efficiency Management — because legacy tools only show what you spend. PointFive shows what you’re wasting and helps you fix it.

Customers see ROI in as little as 10 days, 1,200%+ average ROI, and a 4.9 rating on G2.

Founded by the team behind IntSights (acquired by Rapid7) and backed by Index Ventures, Salesforce Ventures, Entree Capital, and Sheva Capital, we’re a fast-growing Series A company building to win one of the most important problems in modern infrastructure.

We are looking for a Product Manager to join our Product team. In this role, you will own the full product lifecycle - from discovery and research through execution and go-to-market - for a core area of our platform. You'll work closely with engineering, sales, customer success, and customers themselves to build features that deliver real, measurable value in a fast-moving market where cloud efficiency is becoming a strategic priority for every engineering organization.

Job responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end product development - from identifying opportunities and defining requirements through launch, adoption, and iteration.

  • Conduct customer discovery, gather feedback, and translate insights into a prioritized roadmap that balances customer needs with business goals

  • Write detailed product requirements, design UI/UX flows, and work hand-in-hand with engineering to drive execution.

  • Partner closely with engineering throughout the development cycle, making tradeoffs, unblocking decisions quickly, and ensuring high-quality delivery at startup pace

  • Define and articulate the value proposition for your product area—how it fits into the broader PointFive story, the competitive landscape, and the market

  • Work directly with customers post-launch to measure engagement and adoption, gather feedback, and iterate to continuously improve the product

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, customer success, and marketing to ensure successful releases and strong go-to-market execution

  • Own competitive analysis for your domain, staying sharp on market trends and how PointFive differentiates

Job requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of product management experience in technical, B2B domains—cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, DevOps, observability, or similar spaces

  • Strong technical acumen—you can go deep with engineers, understand system architecture, and hold your own in technical discussions (engineering background not required, but you need to be technical)

  • Proven ability to operate independently with high autonomy, make decisions with incomplete information, and thrive in ambiguity

  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)—you'll be working directly with US enterprise customers

  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and customer-facing teams

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment where priorities shift and speed matters

Preferred (nice-to-have):

  • Experience in FinOps, cloud cost management, or cloud infrastructure tooling

  • Background in B2B SaaS serving engineering or DevOps personas

  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP ecosystems

Equal Opportunity Statement

PointFive is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. We welcome candidates from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives to apply.
