Role Overview
Wati is experiencing rapid growth and we are looking to hire a Senior Product Manager for our PLG team to own and drive activation, retention & expansion, build a roadmap of experiments and execute quickly to show real business impact. We are looking for extremely entrepreneurial PMs who value moving quickly.
If you have demonstrated experience in growth teams, worked in PLG products and want to unlock the potential for messaging to serve millions of customers, we would be excited to hear from you.
This will be an opportunity for you to build experiences that thousands of small businesses use on a daily basis, and to be a key part of this high growth journey.
What you’ll do:
- Track and benchmark activation, retention, and expansion metrics across customer segments — and use AI to surface patterns and anomalies faster than traditional analysis
- Hypothesize, test, and iterate on growth experiments; measure their impact and feed learnings back into the roadmap
- Build and run personalization and nudge systems that use AI to deliver the right message, to the right user, at the right moment in their journey
- Drive new growth experiments end-to-end — from framing the hypothesis to aligning stakeholders, executing with cross-functional teams, and measuring outcomes
- Work with domain PMs to connect activation and retention signals to specific use cases, and influence their roadmaps with data-backed recommendations
- Bring AI into growth workflows — from insight generation and cohort analysis to automated experiment readouts and predictive churn signals
- Understand the messaging ecosystem, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to inform where growth bets should be placed
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Marketing, UX, and Customer teams to move fast and learn faster
Requirements
- 4–5+ years of experience as a Growth PM or Product Analyst in a B2B SaaS environment
- Demonstrated experience identifying the levers that move a metric and running rigorous A/B tests
- Hands-on experience with AI tools for analysis, personalization, or workflow automation — you bring AI into how you work, not just what you ship
- Strong comfort with data — working directly with raw datasets, writing queries, and using analytics tools like Amplitude, Heap, or Mixpanel
- Experience designing or influencing personalization systems, behavioral nudges, or lifecycle engagement flows
- Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority
- Clear, compelling communication — written, verbal, and in presentations
- An eye for design — you can spot a friction point in a flow and know what good looks like
- Comfort holding your own in technical conversations with engineers and data scientists
- Creative problem-solving grounded in customer empathy, not just funnel metrics
Nice to have:
- Experience at a startup or high-growth scaleup
- Coding or SQL experience — you don't need to ship code, but you can read it and get your own answers from data
- Familiarity with the messaging, CPaaS, or WhatsApp ecosystem
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or a related technical field
