Senior Product Engineer (Full-Stack)

Our mission

Bounti is building the AI-native infrastructure layer for frontline teams — spanning training, audits, and autonomous operations. We partner with multi-location operators in frontline-industries such as hospitality.

We’re hiring a Senior Product Engineer to join our founding product team in Berlin. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves ownership, sweats UX details, and ships fast, end to end delivering value for customers.

What you'll do

• Build Product End-to-End: Own features from concept → implementation → release → iteration (frontend + backend).
• Ship Fast, Learn Faster: Deliver quickly, validate with customers, and iterate. Biggest risk is building the wrong thing — not imperfect code.
• Customer-Driven Engineering: Talk to users and customers directly, understand the workflow pain, and turn feedback into product improvements.
• Design-First Execution: Partner closely with Ziar (Designer & Co-Founder) to create experiences that feel premium and intuitive.
• Raise the Engineering Bar: Improve patterns, code quality, DX, testing, and observability without slowing down shipping.
• Work Like a Founder: Prioritize ruthlessly, own outcomes, and help shape what “great product engineering” looks like at Bounti.

Your profile

• You have a strong product sense — you care about UX, clarity, and the tiny details that make software feel “right”.
• You’re strong on the backend (you’ve built and scaled real production systems) — and you’re not afraid to go deep when needed.
• You’re pragmatic and impact-driven: you know when to polish and when to ship to learn.
• You write clean, understandable, maintainable code — and you communicate context early and often.
• You enjoy getting close to the problem: talking to customers, understanding real-world constraints, building solutions that stick.
• Experience with our stack is a plus: TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, Postgres, Prisma.

Bonus points if you have:

• Built AI product features (LLMs, agents, workflows, evaluation, etc.)
• Mobile product experience (Flutter, React Native or similar)
• ML experience

  …and often with Deniz (Co-Founder) who brings constant customer perspective.
