Senior Frontend Engineer

Position Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to own and evolve the user experiences that power Condukt’s agentic platform. You will sit at the intersection of design, engineering, and product, building intuitive interfaces that help our customers navigate complex real-time data and AI-driven insights with ease.

As an early-stage startup, we pride ourselves on our ability to roll up our sleeves and build from scratch. In this role, you will design and own our frontend architecture from the ground up, setting high standards for performance, accessibility, and UI consistency. You’ll ship code frequently, iterate quickly based on user feedback, and ensure our platform remains fast, resilient, and polished.

What you’ll do:

• Design and own the frontend architecture of our platform, from foundational decisions through to implementation

• Build fast, accessible, and resilient user interfaces that make complex data intuitive for our customers

• Obsess over the customer experience, translating real user needs into polished, high-quality product features

• Collaborate closely with designers, product, and backend engineers to shape the end-to-end user experience

• Impact and shape our engineering culture, setting high standards for quality, ownership, and craft

• Continuously raise the bar on frontend practices, such as performance, testing, component design, and developer tooling

What you bring:

• 5+ years of experience building and owning production frontend applications

• Deep proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ESNext)

• Strong experience with React and its ecosystem - state management, component architecture, testing

• Hands-on experience with Next.js, and familiarity with build tooling such as Vite and Webpack

• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs, with a solid understanding of async patterns

• Familiarity with software engineering best practices: CI/CD, Docker, performance optimisation

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively

It would be a plus if you have:

• A GitHub account with projects to share

• Familiarity with design systems and component library ownership

• Experience with web performance profiling and optimisation
