Your mission
Reporting & Controlling- You build a structured and transparent reporting system for management and investors
- You develop a robust controlling framework including relevant SaaS KPIs (CAC, LTV, Churn, ARR, MRR, Unit Economics)
- You analyze business performance and derive actionable insights and recommendations
- You support the optimization of the revenue engine (e.g. sales targets, quotas, commission models)
- You analyze customer and margin structures and support financial aspects of contract processes
- You create budgets and business plans in close alignment with management
- You own rolling forecasts and liquidity planning
- You develop scenario analyses to support strategic decision-making
- You monitor and manage budget adherence
- You build scalable finance processes and continuously improve existing structures
- You implement and further develop finance tools and systems
- You ensure clean and efficient integration of accounting processes
- You support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (HGB) in collaboration with external partners
- You work closely with investors, tax advisors, and auditors
- You support management on strategic finance topics
- You contribute to the preparation of fundraising rounds and strategic projects
- You collaborate cross-functionally and bring a finance perspective into operational decisions
- You foster a data-driven mindset across the company
Your profile
Must-have- You hold a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Controlling
- You bring around 3 years of experience in finance, ideally in tech, SaaS, or scale-up environments
- You have experience building reporting systems and finance processes
- You have strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- You are confident using controlling and accounting tools (Excel/Google Sheets, Power BI or similar BI tools, accounting software)
- You have a hands-on mindset and take ownership of operational topics
- You have strong analytical skills and can translate numbers into clear, actionable insights
- You have experience supporting fundraising rounds
- You have knowledge of grant funding and public funding programs
- You have experience implementing finance systems
- You have a basic understanding of corporate governance, company law, and contract law
