Location: California Central Valley (Remote)

Large agribusinesses increasingly rely on data to manage crop performance, reduce operational risk, and improve long-term productivity. Ceres AI turns high-resolution imagery and AI analytics into practical insights that help operators make better decisions across thousands of acres.


In this role, you will work directly with some of the largest permanent crop operators and agribusiness organizations in North America, helping them transform agricultural data into operational and financial outcomes. 


What You’ll Actually Do in Your First 30 Days

  • Build a targeted pipeline of large agribusiness operators across California and the western U.S.
  • Conduct discovery conversations with farm operators, agronomy leaders, and operational executives.
  • Run tailored demonstrations showing how Ceres AI helps monitor crop performance and identify operational risks.
  • Advance several opportunities into formal pilots or evaluation programs.


What You’ll Do

Generate new enterprise agribusiness partnerships

  • Identify and develop opportunities with large permanent crop operators, agribusiness organizations, and agricultural capital groups.
  • Own the full enterprise sales cycle from discovery through contract negotiation and close.


Build trusted relationships across agricultural organizations

  • Work with farm managers, agronomy leaders, COOs, and operational executives.
  • Position Ceres AI as a long-term operational intelligence partner.


Lead consultative technology evaluations

  • Translate complex imagery and AI insights into clear operational value for growers and farm management teams.
  • Guide customers through pilots, field trials, and multi-season deployments.


Bring customer insight back into the company

  • Provide structured feedback to product teams about operational challenges facing growers.
  • Work closely with customer success to ensure strong adoption after the sale.


Must Have

  • 3+ years selling enterprise SaaS or data platforms.
  • Experience working with agribusinesses, permanent crop operators, horticulture, or viticulture.
  • Proven ability to close complex deals with large organizations.
  • Strong understanding of how agricultural operations measure performance and manage risk.
  • Based in California with ability to travel to farms and agribusiness headquarters.

    • Assuming your background shows strong customer process and execution. How would you translate that into a highly domain-specific, field-oriented environment where credibility depends on understanding both agricultural operations and the underlying data insights from day one?


Nice to Have

  • Existing relationships with large growers or farm management companies.
  • Experience selling agricultural analytics, imagery, or precision agriculture technologies.
  • Background in agronomy, farm management, or agricultural finance.
  • Experience running pilot programs or technology trials with farm operations.
  • Familiarity with agricultural sustainability or reporting frameworks.
