Senior Engineer -  DevOps 

As a Senior Engineer DevOps, you will work with a high-performing team to scale and improve the automated deployment of AI-native applications at Enterprise scale. Daybreak’s Supply Chain products solve complex problems using AI/ML, and in this hyper-growth phase, you will drive scalability, observability, and ecosystem integration.

Key Responsibilities
● Infrastructure Automation: Focus heavily on fixing and optimizing the Terraform ecosystem and resolving existing infrastructure misconfigurations.
● CI/CD Management: Develop and maintain pipelines using modern tooling, specifically GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps (ADO).
● Environment Support: Support multiple clusters and troubleshoot outages quickly to reduce reactive downtime.
● Security & Excellence: Fix security vulnerabilities in application/infrastructure and champion engineering excellence.
● Collaboration: Work with leadership to manage support workloads and grow into architectural and observability tasks.

Must Have
● 4- 6 years of work experience 
● Mastery of Terraform: Extensive hands-on experience; ability to audit and fix complex infrastructure-as-code (IaC) deployments.
● Kubernetes Expertise: In-depth "in and out" knowledge of EKS and Kubernetes as the core production environment.
● Modern CI/CD Tooling: Proven experience with GitHub Actions and/or Azure DevOps (ADO) pipelines.
● Cloud Proficiency: Strong understanding of AWS services, particularly for containerized workloads.
● Problem Solving: Ability to classify and solve technical problems rapidly to minimize support bottlenecks.

● Proven ability to leverage AI-powered tools (such as GitHub Copilot, Datadog Bits, or Cast.ai) to automate infrastructure coding, accelerate root-cause analysis, and optimize cloud resource efficiency.
● Soft Skills: Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Nice to Have
● ArgoCD: Experience with GitOps principles and knowledge on Argo CD.
● Observability: Familiarity with monitoring tools like Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or
Cloudwatch.
● Programming: Experience with OO programming, preferably Python.
● Release Principles: Solid understanding of release management and pipeline-as-code
