Senior Costing Analyst

What will your responsibilities be?

• Develop and review product cost details: material usage, material cost, equipment requirements, labor requirements, cycle times, tooling and capital requirements for new business or changes to current business

• Technical interests and a desire to understand how things work

• Review complex bill of materials for reasonableness

• Review manufacturing assumptions for reasonableness

• Capacity to bring financial perspective to costing data

• Set targets of purchased items

• Support purchasing price negotiations as required through make/buy and target setting exercises

• Ability to bridge financial data

• Actively contribute to departmental initiatives/process improvements to enhance the overall department’s effectiveness

• Closed collaboration with the manufacturing plants

Which qualifications are we looking for in potential employees?

• University degree (Bachelor/Master, Finance, Business, or Engineering desired)

• Experience in the automotive industry is advantage, automotive seating a plus

• English language is a must, German language is advantage

• Good computer skills, i.e., MS Office, especially Excel and Teamcenter applications

• Proven interpersonal and teamwork skills

• Occasional travel required

• Base monthly salary starting from 2150 EUR gross. Our salary is fair and competitive and can be higher than the starting minimum in the advert
