Job Description

Senior Community & Ecosystem Lead (B2B Tech Services, UK)


Location: Remote (Preference for UK / EU time zone)

Employment type: Part-time (high-impact), senior level


Focus: UK market


This role is for you if…


You’re the kind of community leader who:

  • has a real network in the UK tech ecosystem (founders, operators, VCs, communities)
  • can build trust with CTOs, Heads of Engineering/IT, Heads of Product
  • knows the difference between:
    • community that looks busy, and
    • community that drives reputation and pipeline
  • can run community across LinkedIn, events, partnerships as one system
  • can write content that feels human, credible, and sharp (not “marketing-y”)
  • works with autonomy: you lead, we support
  • loves execution as much as strategy


What you’ll own


Community and audience growth

  • Own Deployflow’s community growth strategy end-to-end (plus hands-on execution)
  • Grow our presence on LinkedIn, and other social media channels
  • Build a consistent content engine from:
    • internal expertise (DevOps / Cloud / IT / AI)
    • ecosystem conversations
    • events and collaborations


Ecosystem outreach and partnerships

  • Build and maintain relationships with:
    • founders, CTOs, operators
    • VCs, accelerators, community leads, tech influencers
  • Own outreach for:
    • collaborations
    • podcast / event opportunities


Events and speakers

  • Own a recurring events programme (virtual + occasional in-person)
  • Manage speaker pipeline:
    • outreach
    • briefing
    • coordination
  • Create high-signal sessions (CTO-friendly, practical, relevant)


Community ops + growth loops

  • Build systems and playbooks:
    • planning rhythm
    • templates
    • tracking
    • follow-up motions
  • Ensure community becomes a repeatable engine, not one-off effort


Collaboration

Work closely with:

  • Growth Marketing Manager (strategy alignment)
  • Founders (voice + ecosystem credibility)
  • Sales team (feedback loop and pipeline relevance)
  • Tech experts (content depth)

We’ll love you in this role if you have…

  • proven experience building B2B tech communities in the UK
  • strong event programming + speaker management ability
  • writing skill that works for senior technical audiences
  • practical marketing maturity (you understand influence, trust, and pipeline)
  • strong organisation + consistent execution habits


Bonus: experience in DevOps/Cloud/IT ecosystem, VC/accelerator partnerships, CTO roundtables.
