Senior Business Development Representative
Location: Remote
Type: Full-time (B2B contract)
Salary: Negotiable + performance-based commission
The role
Deployflow is a growing DevOps and cloud engineering partner working with fast-moving and regulated businesses on high-value, complex projects.
We’re a focused team with high standards and a strong delivery backbone, which means what you build on the commercial side actually converts. You’ll be supported by senior leadership, move quickly, and have real ownership over how pipeline is created.
We’re hiring a Senior BDR to take ownership of outbound and pipeline generation. Someone who can target the right accounts, engage senior stakeholders, and turn conversations into real opportunities.
What you’ll be responsible for
- Owning and delivering a qualified pipeline target, not just activity metrics
- Defining and executing account-focused outbound strategy (who, why now, why us)
- Identifying and prioritising high-value accounts and real buying signals
- Engaging senior stakeholders (CTO, Head of Engineering, IT leadership) with relevant, tailored outreach
- Converting cold outreach into meaningful commercial conversations, not just meetings
- Working closely with leadership to shape messaging, positioning, and campaigns
- Continuously improving outbound performance through testing, insight, and iteration
- Maintaining a clean, structured pipeline with clear next steps and conversion logic
- Challenging assumptions, bringing ideas, and raising the standard of outbound across the business
What we’re looking for
- 6+ years in B2B business development (tech/services preferred)
- Proven track record of generating qualified pipeline
- Comfortable selling into technical audiences
- Strong commercial judgement you know what’s worth pursuing
- Clear, confident communication (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently and own your number
- Experience with modern outbound tools and workflows
- High standards. You care about quality, not just activity
