Absher is hiring an experienced Scheduler to support transit and federal construction projects across Western Washington.
This role partners closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to develop and maintain detailed, cost-loaded and resource-loaded schedules from proposal through closeout. You’ll play a key role in projects where the schedule is contractually tied to payment milestones and agency oversight.
What You’ll Do
- Develop proposal schedules and baseline schedules following award
- Build and maintain cost-loaded and resource-loaded schedules in Primavera P6
- Lead weekly schedule update meetings with Superintendents and PMs
- Track critical path and proactively identify risks or delays
- Support schedule recovery strategies when projects shift
- Prepare reports and updates for internal leadership and project owners
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and commissioning teams
This role is primarily office-based (approximately 75%) with occasional jobsite visits as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of GC construction scheduling experience
- Strong Primavera P6 proficiency
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, reporting)
- Ability to work collaboratively with field teams and project leadership
PREFERRED
- A degree in Construction Management or Engineering is preferred but not required. Equivalent experience is valued.
- Experience on transit or federal projects
- Working knowledge of cost-loaded and/or resource-loaded schedules

Salary offers are typically made between the entry and midpoint of the range and are based on factors such as experience, education, and internal equity.
