Research Associate, Analytical Development

We are seeking a highly effective, motivated recent graduate to join our team. You will experience all facets of building a startup at a cutting edge biotech company in San Carlos! You will work with an experienced team of founders and scientists running lab experiments and assays. Who You Are:
BS in chemistry, biochemistry or STEM field with GPA >= 3.5 and <=1 year out of undergrad
Extremely strong work ethic
Python scripting ability
Knowledge of analytical chemistry 
Knowledge of aseptic technique
Highly motivated and ambitious
Proficiency with Google Sheets and Google Slides
Live within a 30 minute commute of San Carlos

Nice to Haves:
Experience working with an HPLC
Knowledge of USP guidelines
Experience working in a biosafety cabinet
Experience with cell culturing
Experience working with a plate reader
Experience with qPCR

Responsibilities:
Under the guidance of a research scientist, perform lab work including:
Quality control of sterile compounded pharmaceuticals
Method development and analytical testing on an HPLC
Record experimental methods and results in Benchling
Read and summarize papers
Contribute to BD efforts
Whatever else is needed for the company to succeed

Details:
This is an in-person role in San Carlos, CA
The compensation range for this role is $100,000-110,000 along with equity options in the company and benefits
