Pay range is $58k to $65k CAN

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

As front line customer service in our retail stores, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Listens actively to customers to advise them on products, prices and availability in order to satisfy their needs. Answers technical questions.
  • Receives and processes customer orders (phone, email in, fax, etc)
  • Prepares quotations and standard tender requests.
  • Provides support to the local account executives for back-office activities.
  • Performs phone “cold-calls” for network customers and “blitz” in some market segments.
  • Does post-sales follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Organizes the display of products in the store
  • Identifies and respects our commitment to our customers and ensures that deliveries are made in time.
  • Process and confirm delivery slips.
  • Communicates with the logistics team to ensure cylinder replenishing.
  • Use your welding knowledge and experience to help our customers find the right supplies for their projects and business needs
  • Learn new computer systems, enabling you to give accurate information, pricing and quotes for our customers.
  • Learn how to track orders/cylinders and expand your knowledge in logistics
  • Follow ALC's safety policies diligently
  • Work in a clean and organized environment by maintaining our product displays
  • On call rotation with the local team to assist after hour customer needs.

Are you a MATCH?

 Are you a MATCH?

  • 2 to 5 years of industry experience, customer service or sales of welding or industrial products preferred
  • Knowledge of welding processes and products is an asset but not mandatory
  • Knowledge of computer systems including Google Suites, Servitrax, Oracle, SAP, CRM's such as SalesForce, etc. Training to be provided.
  • Class 5 license
  • A positive attitude and customer service focus
  • Forklift experience would be an asset as well
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
