Project Safety Manager _XC

Job Description

• Responsible for functional safety development for IDC and/or ADAS function/system.
• Contact to customer for the project’s functional safety topics as per ISO 26262.
• Coordination of internal/external safety activities in the project as functional safety manager.
• Plan and coordinate all safety-relevant activities and milestones in the relevant phases of the life cycle (project-specific safety plan).
• Monitor the status of safety implementation within the project.
• Report deviations from plan and make escalations to project manager.
• Demand the creation of safety-relevant work products.
• Plan and coordinate reviews and confirmation measures of safety relevant work products.
• Check the completeness of the required work products.
• Give a recommendation for the release of the safety case.
• Coordinate and support safety discussions with customer.
• Plan and coordinate internal/external functional safety assessment.
• Represent functional safety interests inside the company, establishing the safety culture.
• Other tasks assigned by the Department Manager.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in automotive electric/electronic control system;Major in Automotive Engineering or Electronic.
• Experience in project management
• Safety technology, safety processes and standards (ISO 26262);
• Good technical understanding of the IDC and/or ADAS products in development and in the field.
