Product Owner Intern

SavvyMoney is looking for a Product Owner Intern. In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross functional teams and gain hands on experience in product management, research, and AI-driven product development.

This is a part-time internship position (30–40 hours per week).

What You'll Do

• Research user needs and define personas and journey maps

• Write a Product Requirements Document (PRD) with features, success metrics, and acceptance criteria

• Design basic wireframes and conversation flow prototypes

• Build a prioritized user story backlog

What You'll Learn

• How to conduct product discovery and translate research into opportunities

• How to write PRDs and define acceptance criteria for AI-driven products

• How to collaborate with engineering, design, and analytics teams

• Privacy and ethical considerations in financial AI products

What We're Looking For

• Genuine interest in product management, fintech, or AI

• Curious and analytical problem solver

• Clear communicator, written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications

• Enrolled in an undergraduate program in a STEM-related field

• Familiarity with Figma, Jira, or similar tools

• Comfortable using AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude for research & development

Compensation

 $25.00 - 27.00 hourly depending upon experience. This is a non-exempt position
