Apply if you are incredibly passionate about building loveable products that people actually use.

This is an L2 opportunity. Successful candidates typically come from mid-level engineering roles and have demonstrated the ability to contribute independently to well-scoped technical projects in a collaborative team environment.

About the role

As a Full-Stack Software Engineer, you will prototype, build, iteratively rebuild, and deploy new products that solve problems in physical workplaces (everything from digital signage to humanoid robots).

The team aims to rethink workplace security, safety, communication, and coordination. We strive for practical, easy-to-understand, powerful primitives that compose together into lovable products.

Our ideal candidate works well in small, nimble teams and is not afraid to go back to the drawing board frequently. We’re looking for creative people with ideas who want to execute them.

This on-site position requires 4 days per week (Monday-Thursday) at our San Francisco HQ office.

You will

  • Prototype new features and designs for workplace products

  • Iterate rapidly on functional prototypes that reimagine how workplaces can work better

  • Ship code quickly and often, turning ideas into working demos

  • Work with real customers to understand their problems

  • Build scalable systems to deploy the best ideas into production

  • Hand off ideas to other product teams to explore when better suited to their focus

  • Develop features across the entire stack (frontend and backend)

You are

  • Have demonstrated building and shipping full-stack apps that get users and traction in a startup environment

  • Can’t resist building new projects to test new ideas

  • Can handle very high ambiguity and independently execute on a “product spec” written in a single sentence

  • Can code in TypeScript, Kotlin, Python, Rust, or whatever language is needed to get things done

  • Ability to pivot quickly and adapt to shifting priorities.

You have

  • 2-4 years of post-grad working experience

  • BS / MS in Computer Science or a related technical field

  • Worked with real customers to understand their problems
