Ag Processing Inc (AGP) is currently seeking a full time Material Handler to join our team in Emmetsburg, Iowa! This person will be responsible for loading/unloading of bulk materials, rail yard switching duties and vacation relief. Employees will perform other tasks relating to shipment of products.
Responsibilities:
Compliance with all safety procedures.
Loads and unloads materials into and from vehicles.
Operates vehicles and moves controls and observes gauges to measure, mix, and regulate chemical, liquid, or bulk solids transfer.
Cleans and maintains equipment-Mechanical aptitude.
Moves materials from storage or work site to designated area, using hand truck, forklift, pallet jack, or other device.
Maintains inventory, records and location of equipment and materials moved. (general computer skills)
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
Must Have a High School diploma or equivalent.
Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
Must speak, write and understand English.
Requires a rotating schedule, including days, nights and weekends. (OT during peak periods)
