Job Title: Marketing Manager
Location: Remote
SUMMARY
Agile Defense is seeking a Marketing Manager with experience in the national security and defense industry. This role is responsible for planning and executing marketing initiatives that strengthen brand presence, support business development efforts, and communicate complex technical capabilities.
The ideal candidate combines strategic marketing thinking with hands-on execution. This position works closely with leadership, business development teams, technical subject matter experts, and external partners to produce clear, compelling marketing strategy and materials, plan and execute events, build differentiated thought leadership, and, and the ability to operate effectively in a highly regulated and customer-facing environment.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Collaborate with business development and capture teams to develop and align marketing initiatives with strategic priorities and customer objectives.
· Create messaging that translates complex technologies and mission capabilities into clear value propositions for government audiences.
· Support brand positioning across digital, event, and content marketing channels.
· Manage website updates, content publishing, and performance optimization.
· Monitor and analyze performance metrics (traffic, engagement, SEO) and recommend improvements.
· Support event marketing, conferences, and industry engagement.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Certifications
· 5–8 years of marketing experience, preferably in national security, defense, government contracting, or related sectors.
· Experience leveraging and developing for digital and social media platforms.
· Demonstrated success developing and executing proactive communications strategies in large, complex organizations or government environments.
· Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
· Experience advising senior leaders and operating as a trusted communications counselor.
· Knowledge of federal contracting, IT services, digital modernization, and government affairs.

Preferred Skills
· Familiarity with UX fundamentals or digital experience best practices.
· Prior experience supporting DoW or federal IT modernization programs.
