The Position

35 North is seeking a detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our growing construction services team. This role focuses on marketing content, social media, proposal support, CRM data management, website maintenance, and event development and logistics. You'll play a critical role in winning new work while building our brand presence across digital channels.

 

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the ideal candidate enjoys variety, thrives on organization, and takes pride in delivering polished, accurate work. Must possess excellent writing skills and be able to multi‐task while efficiently managing time.

 

Responsibilities

Pursuit & CRM Support

  • Identify and track new pursuit opportunities
  • Maintain accurate CRM data for projects and pursuits
  • Prepare materials for and participate in Go/No-Go meetings
  • Provide proposal production support including content development, proofing, and compliance checks
  • Occasionally lead proposals in times of overflow or cross-training

 

Events & Logistics

  • Coordinate internal events, as well as lead logistics for external events
  • Coordinate booth materials, schedules, sponsorship deliverables, and other details

 

Marketing Content & Website Support

  • Assist with developing and maintaining website and sales collateral materials
  • Contribute to social media strategy, content development, post scheduling, and creating brand content to complement project highlights and employee news
  • Organize, order, and update marketing assets and branded materials
  • Support website updates in WordPress


Education

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong project management/organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with:
    • Microsoft Office Suite
    • WordPress
    • Knowledge of marketing techniques and social media platforms
    • InDesign; Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop and Illustrator skills a plus
  • Self-motivated, independent, and proactive

 

Experience

  • 2-4 years of comparable professional experience in Marketing, Communications, Business Development, or a related field
    • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Experience with CRM (Deltek a plus)
  • A/E/C industry marketing experience preferred

 

Physical and Other Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds
  • Must have own vehicle and a valid driver’s license
