Manager, Foam COE

JOB DESCRIPTION

Main Responsibilities: (หน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ)

• Develops and updates the foam machine technical specifications, TPM standard procedure, and quotation checklist of foam plants with JVs process and maintenance teams.
• Provides technical support, on-site or remote, to foam machine troubleshooting, and helps JVs to achieve foam line machine utilization larger than 93% annually.
• Works with JVs on machine automation, innovation, and safety to improve working efficiency for labor hour reduction and product quality stabilization.
• Establishes and share Asia foam lines machine database. Helps JVs for spare parts localization and share.
• Gives new foam line launch support, and confirms the new line meet the quotation scale and Adient technical specifications.
• Leads and cooperates machine supplier development with JVs, and introduces qualified suppliers to global team for machine export.
• Develops training courses on machine design, maintenance, failure and countermeasures, and innovation.

• Ensure that all activities accordance with Environmental legal & requirements.
• Follow all Health & Safety and Environmental requirements that are defined on work instructions or communicated in training
• Participation in the HSE involvement in management of change process, attendance in HSE related team meetings.
• Communicating often about safety: safety talk and feedback, ensure accident and near-miss reporting procedures are understood and complied with, assist with accident investigations & 8D report.
• Zero tolerance & fully compliance with high risk/critical work: Permit System.
• Conduct risk assessments on activities within their department ensuring that the methods and systems of work are safe, also that the necessary procedures, rules and regulations designed to achieve this are formulated, published and applied.

                                                                                       

Qualifications (Education, Skills, and Experiences)

• Bachelor’s Degree or above, major in automation, mechanics, or electrical engineering preferred.
• 7+ years or above working experience with high pressure foaming machine, Krauss Maffei and Hennecke machines highly desired. Familiar with hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical components and concepts.
• Proven experience on Intouch, Visual Basic, or Java for machine programming, Solid experience on robot.
• Capable to handle multi projects at one time. Good at program management and communication with JVs. Can make frequent travel, >50%.
•    Fluent in English
