This position works out of our Casa Grande, Arizona location in the Abbott Nutrition division. What You’ll Work On
Operate IPP equipment and related control systems; i.e., Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR), Influent Equalization (EQ), Sludge Dewatering Press, Sludge Removal, Chemical Feed(s).
Monitor control system and make adjustments as needed to maintain compliance with the discharge permit issued by the City of Casa Grande.
Observe variations in operating conditions, interpret lab test results, along with current and historical data to maintain proper control of the system.
Maintain log of operations and records all lab data and meter and gauge readings.
Maintain communication with the production facility to understand potential flow and waste loading that may impact pretreatment system performance.
Perform or schedule with third parties routine maintenance on IPP systems and equipment. Maintain a high level of housekeeping and GMP’s.
You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
HSD/GED
Experience operating/maintaining Biological wastewater treatment systems is required.
Algebra
Preferred Qualifications
Technical Diploma (± 12 years)
- Arizona Wastewater Certification (Grade 3 or higher)
Work Schedule
This position follows a rotating schedule with coverage required between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., Monday through Sunday. Team members work four 10‑hour shifts (4x10) per week; however, these shifts may not always be scheduled consecutively.
Current scheduled shift times include:
- 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- 9:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Flexibility is required, as occasional night shift coverage may be needed based on operational demands.

The base pay for this position is
$29.55 – $59.05/hourIn specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
