Lead, QA Engineer

Responsibilities :

Work with the functional QA team and understand the application features to automate them.
Plan and prioritize the features automation during release cycles.
Maintain the automation frameworks and automation suites.
Execute the automation suites on Engineering, Staging and Production environments.
Analyze the automation failures and fix them.
Create and maintain automation repository and artifacts.
 
Qualifications and Skills:

Minimum 7+ years of experience in UI and API automation automating testing of SAAS products.
Strong expertise in test automation tools Selenium, Rest Assured, TestNG. 
Significant experience working with programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python)
Must have hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, git, Maven.
Hands on experience of working with IDE IntelliJ, Eclipse and PyCharm.
Build and maintain shared automated testing frameworks (unit, integration, performance, security)
Establish quality metrics and KPIs (e.g., defect density, test coverage, release confidence) to measure and improve outcomes.
Familiarity with observability tools and validation of monitoring/alerting systems.
Must have experience on any public Cloud(AWS, Azure, GCP) platforms.
Must be experienced working with Docker and Kubernetes.
Good to have experience on Kafka, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, Oracle DB.
