IT Security and Compliance Specialist

     

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The IT Compliance Analyst is responsible for evaluating, monitoring, and maintaining IT General Controls (ITGCs) to ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements. This role partners closely with system owners, control owners, and audit teams to support audits, remediation efforts, and continuous control improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure IT controls are designed appropriately and executed consistently and on time.

• Partner with system and control owners to document, test, and maintain controls.

• Assist with internal and external audits, including evidence collection and remediation tracking.

• Develop, update, and support training for IT policies, standards, and operating procedures.

• Identify, analyze, and document IT risks and risk-related data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

• 2–3 years of experience in IT compliance, audit, or risk management.

• Working knowledge of IT internal controls and control frameworks.

• Familiarity with HIPAA and NIST standards.

• Strong written, verbal, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
