IT Project Manager - DFW

As part of our exciting growth, we are currently searching for an

IT Project Manager.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Creates detailed project plans to be shared with team members and stakeholders 

  • Planning out the blueprints for projects, including defining the scope, allocating resources, setting deadlines, laying out communication strategies, and indicating tests and maintenance. 

  • Delivering completed IT services to the organization and performing regular checks on the services' performance with stakeholders. 

  • Manages an Agile project management approach for both sprints and Kanban techniques 

  • Manages changes to the scope, schedule, and budget using appropriate techniques 

  • Completes projects by coordinating resource availability and workload 

  • Delegates project tasks based on team members’ strengths, skill sets, and experience 

  • Tracks project performance 

  • Identifies, assesses, and manages project risk, escalating as appropriate 

  • Ensures appropriate levels of project documentation throughout the project lifecycle 

  • Determines and documents user requirements and objectives for businesses processes in coordination with stakeholders and Aligned leadership 

  • Defines project milestones, phases, and elements and manages project budgets 

  • Monitors project progress and keep stakeholders updated on project progress 

  • Prepares reports for executive management about project status  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, preference for business or computer science discipline 

  • Background in fast paced, high growth technology industry strongly preferred 

  • 3+ years’ experience managing IT projects 

  • 3+ years’ experience managing Financial Services projects 

  • Experience managing complex engagements 

  • Change management skills/experience 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects 

  • 3rd party vendor management skills 

  • PMP or CSM certification preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

COMPENSATION:

  • $120,000 - $140,000 + Bonus
