JOB DESCRIPTION:

This is a Pipeline requisition to proactively source and engage student candidates in Guatemala for Abbott’s University Relations Program, with anticipated start dates beginning May 2026.

The position will be based on-site at Abbott Guatemala: 5a Ave 5-55, Zona 14, Guatemala.

Position Summary

The HR-C&B Student Intern will provide administrative and operational support to Corporate Human Resources and Compensation & Benefits (C&B) teams. This role is designed to offer hands-on professional experience while supporting key HR processes and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to Corporate HR and Compensation & Benefits teams in daily operations.

  • Support employee-related activities, internal communications, and HR projects as needed.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.

  • Perform additional HR-related tasks assigned by the supervisor.

General Requirements

  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish.

  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and Word.

  • General knowledge of ERP systems and strong computer literacy.

  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.

  • Availability to work during both academic semesters in 2026.

Education Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as a Senior student (4th or 5th year) in one of the following fields:

    • Business Administration

    • Human Resources

    • Marketing

    • Commercial Engineering or related disciplines
