JOB DESCRIPTION:
This is a Pipeline requisition to proactively source and engage student candidates in Guatemala for Abbott’s University Relations Program, with anticipated start dates beginning May 2026.
The position will be based on-site at Abbott Guatemala: 5a Ave 5-55, Zona 14, Guatemala.
Position Summary
The HR-C&B Student Intern will provide administrative and operational support to Corporate Human Resources and Compensation & Benefits (C&B) teams. This role is designed to offer hands-on professional experience while supporting key HR processes and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Provide support to Corporate HR and Compensation & Benefits teams in daily operations.
Support employee-related activities, internal communications, and HR projects as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
Perform additional HR-related tasks assigned by the supervisor.
General Requirements
Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and Word.
General knowledge of ERP systems and strong computer literacy.
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
Availability to work during both academic semesters in 2026.
Education Requirements
Currently enrolled as a Senior student (4th or 5th year) in one of the following fields:
Business Administration
Human Resources
Marketing
Commercial Engineering or related disciplines
