We are looking for an open-minded, highly motivated person to reinforce the Finance team as Controller with a permanent contract for our Modena office (expected Smart Working).

In this role you will be part of the Finance and Administration Department and you will report directly to the CFO.

What you will do:

• Prepare company financial planning and budget
• Prepare, verify, and update, with the cooperation of local finance managers, the actual and forecast group cash flow
• Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance of divisions and department;
• Carry out budgeting and reporting activities on monthly/quarterly basis
• Monitor and analyze periodical operating results against budget/forecast in order to identify the causes of possible discrepancies and propose corrective actions
• Manage the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts
• Prepare financial analysis for contract negotiations and product investment decisions
• Work with department managers and corporate staff to develop business plans for the company
• Development of more effective business controlling and reporting procedures
• Collaborate with the Sales, Operations and Project Management teams in order to monitor performances and costs of projects
• Focus on personnel costs in order to support the HR Department for personnel cost analysis, analysis and reporting to support budgeting activities

Who you are:

• Graduate in Economics or Business Administration
• Professional with 5 years of experience in similar role in structured companies or auditing business companies
  
• Able to work with IT tools and preferable a good knowledge of Oracle Netsuite
• Fluent in English and Italian
• Able to work efficiently, prioritizing autonomously activities
• Able to analyze complex financial issues identifying pragmatic solutions
• Confident in implementing new procedures and suggesting changes 
• You are a team player who can collaborate and communicate easily with the team
• You are comfortable managing internal stakeholders, up to the C-Level
