Functional QA Tester

Founded as AgilityFeat in 2010 and focusing on WebRTC since 2015, WebRTC.ventures is headquartered in Charlottesville, VA, with a QA/testing center in Panamá City, Panamá, and a remote office in Bogotá, Colombia. We have always worked remotely and are passionate about remote communications.

 

We are looking for a skilled Functional QA Tester to join our team. In this role, you will ensure that our software applications meet required acceptance criteria and align with WebRTC.ventures' high-quality standards. Your primary focus will be on manual testing, writing test cases, executing functional testing, and collaborating with other team members to enhance product quality.

 

Fluent English is essential for seamless communication within our teams and with international stakeholders.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Write clear and comprehensive test cases based on product requirements.
• Execute functional, smoke, API, integration, and regression tests.
• Document and report defects and bugs found during testing.
• Collaborate with project leads, QA teams, and developers to resolve identified issues and ensure product quality.
• Provide feedback on product functionality and suggest improvements.
• Conduct testing for multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring each meets the defined criteria.
• Create and maintain detailed test reports, ensuring accurate tracking of test progress and defects.

Technical Requirements

• Fluent English (C or greater) is mandatory.
• At least two years of experience as a QA tester for desktop, web, and mobile applications.
• Experience in agile environments.
• Basic programming skills (for test automation purposes).
• Knowledge of testing tools such as Selenium, TestLink, Postman, Browserstack, WebDriver.io, or similar.
• Experience with functional, smoke, regression, and integration testing.
• ISTQB certification is a plus.
• Basic experience with QA automation is a plus.
