Job Description

The Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Frontend Web Developer to join the team in the development of our proprietary platforms that includes both web and mobile application development.

We are looking for individuals energised to see through projects from conceptualization to implementation. You are someone ready to take on new challenges and grow together in a Tech start-up. You will be working in a fast-paced environment and strive to enhance our existing products.

To succeed in this role, you must be passionate in frontend development and pay great attention to user experience. You are highly adaptive and a strong believer that change is a constant. 

Key Responsibilities (to include but not limited to):

• Participate in system development projects and work closely with the cross-functional teams, including business, designer, developers on the system requirements
• Strong knowledge and expertise in applications, utilities, along with underlying core programming skill sets and development methodologies and procedures used within the systems environment
• Assist in the design of new/revised websites and web applications, analyzing user requirements and specifying new/enhanced system components, and writing/amending according to specifications
• Stakeholder management - managing multiple priorities and expectations
• Ensure codes are optimized prior to deployment and in production
• Enhance and maintain existing websites and web applications
• Be active and engage team members - understand user stories and make constructive recommendations
• Demonstrate technical leadership and proactively suggest the appropriate technology based on the business needs
• Actively contributing to the company with your game-changing ideas
• Creative problem-solving approach and strong tenacity to identify cause and solution

Qualifications

• Minimally 3 years of experience in relevant field of expertise
• Be flexible and open to receiving feedback
• Proficiency in developing web applications using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Jquery, Bootstrap
• In depth knowledge of ReactJS, Redux, Typescript and ES6
• Strong exposures with Grunt, Bower, Webpack, NPM, Yarn or in one unit test frameworks (Jest, Front-end Developer Jasmine, Mocha) is a plus
