We are looking for a Freelance Technical Recruitment & Workforce Coordinator to join our team and support hiring and workforce planning for technical (coding-related) domains.
This is a hybrid role that starts within the Acquisition team and gradually evolves into a Workforce Coordination function. You will initially focus on technical recruitment pipelines, and over time take ownership of evaluating talent pools, identifying gaps, and supporting project readiness from a workforce perspective.
This role is ideal for someone with a technical recruitment background who wants to expand into a more operational, strategic role bridging hiring and workforce planning.
You do not need to be a developer, but you should feel comfortable understanding technical roles (e.g. backend, frontend, full-stack) and collaborating with engineers and project stakeholders.
Working Hours & Compensation:
• Expected workload: 35-40 hours per week
• Compensation: $15-20/hour
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Pipeline Management (initial focus)
- Support and manage recruitment pipelines for technical roles (primarily coding-related domains)
- Screen and interview candidates, assessing both technical fit (at a high level) and overall suitability
- Build and maintain talent pools for current and future project needs
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure hiring pipelines are aligned with project requirements
Workforce Coordination & Talent Pool Evaluation
- Assess the current talent pool and identify gaps based on incoming project requests
- Support reactivation of existing talent and evaluate readiness for new projects
- Collaborate with Workforce and Project teams to ensure supply meets demand
- Contribute to workforce planning decisions by providing insights into talent availability and quality
Technical Assessment Support
- Create and maintain basic technical assessments (e.g. HackerRank tests) based on project requirements
- Understand role requirements (language, framework, seniority) to design relevant test structures
- Collaborate with developers and project managers to validate and improve test quality
- Continuously improve assessment quality based on stakeholder feedback
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Project Managers, Developers, and Workforce teams
- Ensure alignment between hiring output and project expectations
- Act as a bridge between recruitment and delivery teams
What we’re looking for
- ~3+ years of experience in technical recruitment
- Solid understanding of technical roles and concepts (backend, frontend, full-stack, languages, frameworks)
- Ability to evaluate technical profiles and understand project requirements
- Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Proactive mindset with the ability to learn and adapt quickly
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with technical stakeholders
