tl;dr: Interface is looking for generalist founding engineers (ml, data, full-stack) who are scrappy, push boundaries and have a need to win. We need to work hard and build quick to win. We want people to challenge our ideas and build alternatives. LFG 🚀
who you are:
make two-way door decisions quickly
fix things before being told they’re broken
be comfortable with our stack (tsx, py, docker, llms, yolo, tesseract, postgresql, aws, react native ...)
have built real things that people use
thrive in chaos
🧑💻 what you'll do:
speak to users/customers about their experience / problems / needs
architect systems used daily by thousands of folks at $B+ companies
build agent-swarm data pipelines that autonomously audit thousands of documents
maintain infrastructure that scales
ship fast – because perfectionism kills progress.
🗣️ real talk:
you'll work with the founding team and customers directly
the users' needs are more important than cool features and/or hype
the whole team works 6 days a week at our office
you'll be in SF: a lot of work, great weather and best tech ecosystem in the world 🌎
other stuff:
Apply from anywhere in the world.
Competitive pay, strong equity, and early team influence.
$3,000 referral bonus for successful hires.

Who is Interface? We are the autonomous safety expert for the industrial world.
Here's what that actually means: we're building an expert that finds and fixes errors in industrial documentation; in the near future, we’ll do the same with digital twins. We’re creating an AI-powered auditing platform that fixes errors in regulatory documents, CAD files, and beyond. You’ll be working at the intersection of LLMs, computer vision, and data pipelines to automate compliance in industries where failure is not an option.
Join our funded SF-based team working with global industrial partners. You’ll help create a product that industrial giants rely on to prevent accidents, save lives, and reshape how they operate.
