đ What you'll own
đ§ Â Financial Advisory
- Support airCFOâs clients by lending your expertise in startup finance to help with financial management, KPI tracking, board prep, fundraising, and anything else that comes with the territory of early-stage startup finance leader.
âťď¸Â Financial Modeling
- Build out investor-grade, dynamic financial models & forecasts for our clients to support their strategic decisions such as fundraising, hiring, go-to-market strategy and scenario planning.
đ Financial Planning
- Leverage airCFOâs library of financial planning tools to help clients build a comprehensive financial plan for management & investor relations.
đąÂ Financial Analysis
- Analyze clientsâ financial results and write up Executive reports to be presented to startup C-Suite team members, helping them better understand their financial outlook and convey their narrative to investors and team members.
- Identify & compile relevant KPIs to ensure companies are monitoring appropriately
đ Internal Initiative Support
- Assist airCFO team in building out our practice and developing new products
- Contribute on internal initiatives to help airCFO continue to grow
This role will start with an emphasis on execution and relationships and gradually increase their imprint on the strategic direction of the business.
We will always try to make room for you to take on projects or responsibilities that you are keen on, as long as it doesn't interfere with the main results you're responsible for â if you are e.g. interested in exploring talent acquisition by hiring for a role.

Qualifications
đŹ This role might be for you if...
... you've had the following experiences in your career:
- 4+ yearsâ experience working in financial analysis, investment banking, management consulting, or technology startups in a similar role
- 4+ years hands-on experience building & maintaining tools in Excel/Sheets; advanced data analysis, modeling & forecasting skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to simplify and explain complex financial issues and topics to clients
- Ability to prospect and market new services to existing and potential accounts
- Basic knowledge of GAAP
- Bachelorâs degree â Accounting or Finance preferred
- MBA and/or CPA preferred

What is the interview process?
- Expect no more than 5 working days to get a response after you apply, and 48h for each step after (a ~2-3 week process overall). The steps in our hiring process are as follows:
- Complete our brief technical challenge that consists of a few prompts to measure technical skills
- First Round: 20-30 min Discovery call with a member of our People Operations team
- Second Round (with Finance team members):
- 30 min Startups & Finance Interview
- 30 min Cultural & Behavioral Interview

What is the compensation package?
- $90-110K USD annually
