Farmland is becoming one of the most important real assets in global portfolios - but most investment teams still rely on fragmented operational data to understand performance. Ceres AI bridges that gap by connecting what happens in the field to the financial outcomes investors care about.
In this role, you will work directly with farmland funds, agricultural private equity firms, and institutional investors to help them make better investment decisions using real operational intelligence. Your work will help shape how agricultural capital markets evaluate performance, manage risk, and build more resilient farmland portfolios.
What You’ll Actually Do in Your First 30 Days
- Map the farmland investment ecosystem across North America - including major farmland funds, ag-focused private equity firms, and institutional allocators.
- Begin conversations with target investment firms exploring portfolio analytics, operational benchmarking, or sustainability reporting.
- Partner with product and leadership to refine messaging around how Ceres AI supports diligence, portfolio monitoring, and performance measurement.
- Advance several enterprise opportunities into active evaluation conversations with investment teams.
What You’ll Do
Build relationships with agricultural investors
- Develop relationships with farmland asset managers, agricultural private equity firms, and institutional investors allocating capital to agriculture.
- Engage senior stakeholders including Partners, portfolio managers, COOs, and investment committees.
Lead consultative enterprise sales
- Guide complex enterprise sales cycles involving investment, operations, and sustainability teams.
- Translate Ceres AI insights into value for portfolio performance, risk management, operational diligence, and investor reporting.
Help shape a new category in ag investment intelligence
- Position Ceres AI as the intelligence layer connecting field performance to financial outcomes.
- Work with marketing and product teams to refine messaging for agricultural capital markets.
Represent Ceres AI in the investment ecosystem
- Participate in agricultural investment conferences, farmland forums, and real asset events.
- Build Ceres AI’s visibility among institutional agriculture investors.
Must Have
- 3+ years working with or selling into farmland investment firms, agricultural asset managers, or ag-focused private equity funds.
- Proven success closing complex enterprise deals involving multiple senior stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of farmland as an asset class and the drivers of agricultural portfolio performance.
- Ability to translate operational agricultural insights into financial or investment value.
- Experience engaging Partners, Portfolio Managers, or investment committees.

- Existing relationships with farmland funds or institutional agriculture investors.
- Experience selling analytics, data platforms, or investment intelligence tools.
- Background in agricultural finance, farmland investment, or real assets.
- Familiarity with sustainability reporting or ESG metrics in agriculture.
- Experience presenting at industry events or investment conferences.
