The Role

 

Fusang is a cloud-first organization building a world-class DevOps team. We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to help build and maintain our AWS and cloud infrastructure. Working closely with the DevOps Team Lead, you will implement CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and ensure the stability and performance of our cloud platform in a regulated fintech environment.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Infrastructure & Cloud Operations

• 
  Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation
• 
  Maintain stability and performance of AWS services (EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, Lambda etc)
• 
  Support networking configurations including VPCs, security groups, and load balancers

CI/CD & Automation

• 
  Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket Pipelines
• 
  Develop automation scripts (Bash, Python, Node.js, PowerShell) to streamline operations
• 
  Work with container technologies (Docker, ECS, Portainer, Coolify etc)
• 
  Leverage AI-assisted tools (e.g. Claude Code) to accelerate development

Security, Compliance & Reliability

• 
  Support secrets management, IAM policies, and encryption standards
• 
  Execute backup procedures and participate in disaster recovery drills
• 
  Monitor infrastructure health using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana etc
• 
  Respond to alerts and participate in incident resolution

Database & Systems Administration

• 
  Support RDS (PostgreSQL, SQL Server) operations including backups and performance tuning
• 
  Perform OS-level administration on Linux and Windows servers

Collaboration

• 
  Work with development teams on CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
• 
  Take ownership of issues and drive them to resolution
• 
  Maintain documentation of infrastructure changes and runbooks

 

 

Requirements:

Required

• 
  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or related areas with minimum 3+ years in DevOps roles
• 
  AWS experience (EC2, ECS, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, Lambda, S3, ALB/NLB)
• 
  Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
• 
  Container tools (Docker, ECS, Portainer, Coolify etc)
• 
  Source code management tools and CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket Pipelines or GitHub Actions)
• 
  Scripting (Bash, Python, and/or Node.js)
• 
  Linux and Windows Server administration
• 
  RDS management
• 
  Proven ability to work hands-on in a fast-paced environment.
• 
  Good English communication skills
• 
  AI-Assisted Development: Proficiency with AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot is essential—this is a core part of how we build software at Fusang
