π§ About the Role
The Delivery Lead owns the successful delivery of our client projects. As a servant leader, you will
be collaborating closely with project teams and client stakeholders to ensure that your projects
deliver on time and on budget, and remain closely aligned to client goals. and delivered efficiently in
line with desired project outcomes using Agile methodologies while fostering a culture of
transparency, adaptability, and teamwork. You will also manage the end-to-end project delivery,
including the project plan, backlog, measuring team performance, facilitating Agile ceremonies,
project reporting, managing stakeholder expectations, personnel onboarding and offboarding,
adherence to policy and processes, ensuring we meet all compliance requirements, and any
activities necessary to ensure we deliver on time, in full, and on budget.

π οΈ Required Experience and Knowledge
You will have at least 3-5 years of professional experience with a solid foundation in team
management or project management roles within the information technology or operational
technology areas. This experience must include delivering streams of work using recognised Agile
methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and Scrum at Scale.
You will be familiar with using industry-standard tools such as Jira, Trello, Azure DevOps, Miro,
Lucid Spark, and others, to guide and facilitate Agile ceremonies and practices. Previous experience
in professional services within enterprise organisations is an advantage.
While this is not a development role, familiarity with key modern software delivery concepts,
including cloud-native architectures, DevOps, DevSecOps, and SRE practices and associated
toolchains.
πDesired Qualifications
You may have completed one or more of the following qualifications:
- Bachelorβs Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field
- Recognised Agile practitioner certifications for Kanban, Scrum, SAFe, Flow Framework, etc.
π Responsibilities
You will be accountable and responsible for the following aspects of our work:
- Manage project delivery from initial planning through to acceptance and project closure.
- Facilitate the timely onboarding and off-boarding of team members on projects.
- Managing and resolving conflicts or unexpected events in a calm, productive manner.
- Obtain the timely acceptance of services and deliverables provided to your clients.
- Ensure all work is managed and delivered in accordance with the relevant contract terms.
- Manage any changes to the scope, timeline, and costs with client stakeholders.
- Ensure your teams follow all applicable processes, policies, and standards at all times.
- Work with product owners and client stakeholders to ensure the product backlog is
- well-groomed, prioritised, and meets the agreed Definition of Ready and Definition of Done.
- Manage stakeholder expectations through regular meetings and progress reports.
- Capture, communicate, and manage the dependencies, issues, and risks for your projects.
- Work to remove impediments, escalating issues that require attention from leadership.
- Enable and motivate your team to achieve and exceed their goals.
- Guide, coach, and support your teams in implementing Agile principles and practices.
- Monitor and report on team performance and delivery metrics to inform decision-making.
- Forecast resource utilisation for your projects, and contribute to resource planning.
- Create an environment that promotes a generative team culture with high levels of trust.
- Ensure your projects deliver positive commercial outcomes for SECTION6 and your clients.
- Alert our sales team to potential follow-on and net new opportunities within your clients.
- Contribute to and complete tasks within SECTION6 Core Processes as reasonably required.
