Job Description:
Summary:
This position is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing sports leagues, including registration, scheduling, communication with participants, logistics coordination, scoring, conflict resolution, and promotion. They ensure smooth operations throughout the event, handling all aspects from registration to post-event evaluation, to deliver a positive experience for teams and spectators alike.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Discover and develop opportunities to market and grow Accel’s Illinois Darts initiative within the assigned region players and establishment owners
Collaborate within region to identify opportunities and offer solutions to both current and perspective partners
Demonstrate the fundamentals for all competitive leagues, including dart and pool, by keeping current with industry standards and trends
Schedule regular follow up visits to establishments to continue to grow leagues
Develop and plan structure and schedule of leagues, including formats and divisions
Function as the main point of contact overseeing team and player registrations and ensure compliance with league rules
Maintain accurate records, track game results, and update standings with precision, ensuring data integrity throughout the duration of the event
Actively promote league to attract teams and spectators, utilizing marketing strategies to increase participation and attendance
Attend events, trade shows, and trade association meetings as needed to network and build relationships within the industry
Proactively address problems and identify solutions to build strong, superior league play
Participate in growth strategies to increase overall profitability
Remain up to date on Illinois Gaming industry news and regulations
Maintain updates and historical data in Salesforce
Any other duties assigned
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of dart and pool industries
Strong knowledge of bar/restaurant/hospitality industries
Previous outside sales experience a plus
Strong professional presence
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office
Knowledge of marketing principles and experience in promoting sports events to attract teams and spectators
Ability to adapt, organize, and multi-task
Experience in handling disputes or conflicts, with the ability to enforce rules and regulations diplomatically and impartially
Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Excellent time management
Ability to work nights and weekends, as required
Extensive travel within your assigned region
Ability to interact with local bar, restaurant, and truck stop owners, as well as board members of non-profit organizations
Valid driver’s license is required
Minimum of 21 years of age
Ability to obtain and/or maintain a Terminal Handler’s License from the Illinois Gaming Board

Base Pay Range:
$20.00 - $23.00
This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The base salary will depend on a number of factors such as: qualifications, experience level, and skillset.
