PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:
- Manage the financials of EPD Cluster through implementation of appropriate controls and procedures.
- Develop appropriate financial strategies and implement programs
- Lead quarterly financial budgeting (LBE) to ensure the business plan has robust P&L assumptions and take into account of risks and opportunities ahead.
- Provide support to EPD business relating to financial analysis, evaluation and justification of business models, financial planning & controls, P2W optimization, gross margin improvement, risk evaluation, licensing agreements, contracts, and return on investment.
- Summarize and communicate complex financial situations in a clear/concise manner explaining thought processes and analysis to Senior Management.
- Summarize the monthly situation in S&OP (Sales & Operation Planning) including Demand forecast, Supply issues, and Inventory situation
- Support Regional General Manager in key decisions and ensure responsible investment decisions
EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree of Financial/Accounting/Business Administrations or relevant degrees
- Minimum 10 years experience in finance/accounting at a senior level with evident success.
- Experience in leading a team of finance professionals.
- Experience in regional management is a plus
- Proficient in English communication
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide financial counsel, analysis, key decisions and ensure responsible investment decisions.
- Develop appropriate financial strategies in accordance with EPD’s strategic objectives.
- Drive development and preparation of quarterly budgeting process (LBE) and underlying analysis to ensure the region have a robust plan and able to deliver its financial commitments.
- Monitor Cluster financial performance against financial LBE on a weekly & monthly basis, including P&L and Cash Flow. Ensure management is advised on exposure issues.
- Advise senior management in areas of profit maximization, resource prioritization, negotiating for new contracts or business deals with business partners. Anticipate market activities that can impact business.
- Provide timely inputs to management regarding any financial risks and opportunities
- Work closely with cross functional team in affiliates and in APAC, including Commercial, Supply Chain, NBD, and Com Ex, to make assessment and understand potential favorable or unfavorable outcome on business.
- Work closely with affiliate to understand the change of rolling forecast and supply issues. Able to articulate concisely in APAC S&OP meeting.
- Guide, train and develop the country Finance managers
- Take up projects in the countries to drive stronger productivity and better financial management\
