We are seeking a Backend Engineer to join our Software team at Airthings.

You will work in a fast-paced cross-functional team. As a Backend engineer, you will be a key contributor to building and managing our services, ensuring secure and scalable solutions. Our cloud runs on AWS, and the infrastructure is written in Terraform.
Qualifications & Skills
- You are an awesome programmer and have good experience with Kotlin/Java.
- Preferably, you have a master’s or a bachelor’s in software engineering or similar.
- You have at least 3 years of experience as a developer.
- You have experience working in agile cross-functional teams, you share your opinions, collaborate closely with product as well as other team members.
- You have opinions on best practices when it comes to development methodologies, testing and code quality.
- You care about building the right thing and want to explore and test use cases together with the rest of the team.
- It’s a big plus to have knowledge of Kafka and AWS services configured by Terraform.
