Role Summary

The Loan Servicing Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the end-to-end servicing lifecycle, including payment processing, escrow analysis, investor reporting, compliance monitoring, loan boarding, and customer account maintenance. This role requires strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex servicing guidelines across agencies, investors, and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Loan account review and reconciliation

  • Payment application and suspense management

  • Escrow analysis and disbursement support

  • Customer account research

  • Loan boarding and de-boarding support

  • Processing daily settlements

  • Tracking and reconciling daily incoming wires

  • Clearing unidentified or mismatched wires

  • Preparing servicing and investor reports

  • Work on monthly servicing reports and resolve disputes by coordinating with subservicers

  • Custodial and investor account reconciliations

  • Ensuring regulatory and investor guideline compliance

  • Supporting audits and QC reviews

  • Updating SOPs and documentation

  • Cross-functional coordination with internal teams and vendors

  • Participating in system enhancements and UAT

  • Handling investor questions related to payments, service releases, and batch confirmations

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in mortgage servicing or mortgage operations

  • Understanding of servicing regulations and investor guidelines

  • Strong analytical and reconciliation skills

  • Proficiency in servicing systems and Excel/Sheets

Strong communication and organizational skills
