Sales Ambassador – Molecular Diagnostics (MDx)
Division: Abbott Molecular Diagnostics
Location: Singapore
Employment Type: Full Time
Reporting To: Business Manager
Position Summary
The Sales Ambassador is responsible for driving sales growth and expanding Abbott Molecular Diagnostics business within assigned accounts in Singapore. The role serves as the primary commercial and technical interface with customers, ensuring strong partnerships, sustainable revenue growth, and high levels of customer satisfaction, while operating in full compliance
with Abbott’s quality and ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow existing MDx customer accounts while protecting base business and identifying new growth opportunities.
- Execute country sales strategies to achieve assigned revenue, margin, and market share objectives.
- Drive menu expansion, system placements, workflow adoption, and successful new product launches.
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned customers and build long-term, trust-based relationships.
- Plan and conduct structured customer visits, including pre-call planning and post-call follow-up.
- Collaborate closely with Field Service Engineers (FSE), Field Application Specialists (FAS), Marketing, and regional teams.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, business reviews, and maintain customer and opportunity data in CRM systems.
- Collect and communicate Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback to internal stakeholders.
- Ensure all activities comply with Abbott Code of Conduct, Commercial Quality System, and local regulations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Medical Technology, Biomedical Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in sales or support roles within In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD), Molecular Diagnostics, or medical devices.
- Molecular laboratory or application experience is strongly preferred.

- High level of integrity and commitment to compliance and ethical business practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
