AI/ML Recommendation System Intern

We’re looking for an AI/ML Recommendation System Intern to help build and improve personalized financial product recommendations. You’ll work with real data and collaborate with our team to gain hands on experience in machine learning and analytics.

This is a part-time internship position (30–40 hours per week).

What You’ll Do

• Support development of an AI/ML-powered recommendation engine

• Perform exploratory data analysis and assist with feature engineering

• Help build and evaluate models predicting member engagement

• Analyze factors that influence product recommendations

• Run experiments and evaluate model performance

• Document models, data pipelines, and key findings

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• Familiarity with machine learning concepts (coursework or projects)

• Experience with Python, SQL, or similar

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Clear communication and organization skills

Preferred:

• Studies in Data Science, Analytics, or related field

• Experience with ML tools (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)

• Exposure to recommendation systems or data modeling

• Interest in fintech, credit or behavioral analytics

Compensation

 $25.00 - 27.00 hourly depending upon experience. This is a non-exempt position
