Who We Are
At Acusensus, we don’t just build technology; we change behaviours and save lives. We are an Australian technology company with operations across Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States, and New Zealand. Founded in 2018, Acusensus has built world-leading AI and sensing technology for road safety.
We’re now looking for a commercially minded AI Adoption Specialist to accelerate the integration of Artificial Intelligence across our global operations and embed AI as a practical, value‑creating capability across the business.
Why You’ll Love Working With Us
- Mission with Meaning: Your work will directly support technology that saves lives and prevents injuries, applying AI where it delivers measurable real‑world impact.
- Enterprise‑Wide Influence: This is not a lab-based or theoretical role, you’ll work side‑by‑side with leaders and teams to transform the way Acusensus operates through smart, practical AI adoption.
- Innovation‑Driven Culture: Join a high‑performing, collaborative organisation that encourages curiosity, continuous improvement, and bold thinking while balancing innovation with responsibility.
The Opportunity
As the AI Adoption Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in advancing AI maturity across Acusensus. Acting as a bridge between strategy, operations, and technology, you will identify, prioritise, and lead high‑impact AI initiatives that demonstrably improve business performance, decision‑making, and operational efficiency.
Reporting to the Head of Product and Service Operations, this role is based in Sydney and works closely with senior leaders, delivery teams, and internal AI champions across the global business.
You will define and maintain a clear AI adoption roadmap, ensure initiatives are backed by strong cost–benefit analysis, and embed change through effective engagement, coaching, and change management.
What You’ll Do
- Identify High‑Impact Opportunities: Evaluate business processes and workflows to pinpoint where AI can deliver the greatest strategic, operational, and financial benefit.
- Link AI to Business Outcomes: Ensure every AI initiative is tied directly to measurable performance improvements and commercial value.
- Lead AI Initiatives End‑to‑End: Take a hands‑on role in rolling out major AI‑driven initiatives, from concept through to full business adoption.
- Build AI Capability: Develop and coach a network of internal “AI Champions” to drive localised improvements and sustained adoption.
- Shape the AI Roadmap: Own and evolve Acusensus’ internal AI adoption roadmap, balancing innovation, risk, and return on investment.
- Report and Advise: Provide clear reporting and insights to senior leaders on AI adoption progress, opportunities, risks, and emerging trends.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong Technical & Business Foundation: Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven AI or Digital Transformation Experience: Demonstrated experience implementing AI‑driven solutions or leading digital transformation initiatives in complex environments.
- Commercial & Strategic Mindset: Ability to connect AI capabilities to tangible business outcomes using sound prioritisation and cost–benefit analysis.
- Influential Communicator: Exceptional relationship‑building and influencing skills, with the confidence to drive change across all levels of the organisation.
- Adaptable & Curious: A fast learner who thrives in rapidly evolving technology landscapes and enjoys exploring what’s possible.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary package
- Flexible working arrangements
- National travel opportunities with global exposure
- The chance to work with cutting‑edge AI and imaging technology
- A collaborative, purpose‑driven global team
- A culture built on Impact, Collaboration, Integrity, Care, and Delivery
